Bogumił Hoff Square (Plac Bogumiła Hoffa), commonly called the market square (rynek), is the main spot of Vistula town. It was created in the interwar period, when Wisła became a popular summer resort.
The frontage with arcades was erected in the 1930s, and the Municipal Office and the Post Office were located there. The eastern frontage, occupied by the "Spa" House, was also built. The building maintains this form until today.
Currently, the main square in Wisła presents itself very interestingly from ul. 1 May a pleasant walking route, i.e. "promenade". In the summer, and especially during events such as the Beskidy Culture Week, Wiślaczek Country or Dożynki along the Vistula pedestrian zone and on the market, you can buy unique regional and artistic souvenirs.
The most important places to visit in the very center are:
- Plac Hoffa or the market with a fountain and the Avenue of Sport Stars
- Amphitheater Stanisława Hadyna
- Kopczyński Park
- Evangelical-Augsburg Church (pictured)
- The Beskidy Museum with an enclave of old wooden construction
- Art Gallery socalled "At the Bear"
- A chocolate figure of Adam Malysz (famous ski jumper) in the building of the "Spa" House
